The One with the Puzzler

I have a sincere question. Mom and I cannot fathom this and would love to hear another prospective. Why would you have an outside dog, who is desperate for affection, and then decide you want two more outside dogs who seem to stay in a kennel? Please help me understand.

Papa said that maybe they are puppy-sitting... for a few weeks. I'm hanging on to that thread of hope. It could be a lot worse, I suppose.

  1. No idea Zona honey, sounds awfully strange to me too

  2. I will HOPE that it is just DAWG SITTING... butt with the CRAZY PEEPS in this world.. GRRRRRRR Well, I can't imagine why ANYBUDDY would want to keep one of US.. OUT of the HOUSE and not be able to enjoy our LOVE. SIGH Keep us posted on this.

  3. We've never understood why people get a dog if they don't want to live with it and play with it and be best friends with it. Why get a dog and ignore it? People are just weird.

  4. This is just sick! I'm really hope it's only a temporary situation. The dogs must be miserable.

  5. OoH sweet Zona,

It makes mom and me so sad when we see outside only dogs. We don't have an answer fur you either. :(

    Woofs and Licks,

  6. Keep an eye on them, Zona. This does not sound like a good houndie home.

  7. Woofs, it's sounds bad, but you can look at the positive way, just keep on eye on them, maybe they are kind too and wanna play with you.

  8. My Vickie and I have No answers for you on this one either. We get so mad, we find we can't think of it or it just ruins our night.

I bet this really is hard for your gentle heart.

  9. No clue! All I can say is people are strange and mean and dumb, etc.

    Your pal, Pip

  10. Zona, we just don't know. Our sissy lives next to peeps who had one dog that barked all day and was kept outside and then just disappeared. Next thing they have two dogs (that then had two lots of pups) and they too bark ALL day. Luckily Tyler does not bark at all unless told to 'Speak'. Grrrr to those people. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory (inside doggies for sure).

  11. Hey Zona Girl!
Wow, I just can't imagine why any peep would be so dense that they can't appreciate our love and affection. I'm stumped. Boy, I sure hope this is temporary. I'd sure like to bash those peeps and free the pooches. Ptthththtttt to them.

  12. Who can fathom the minds of humans ;\ Hope you are right about the pet sitting, Zona!

  13. Zona I wish I had an answer for you and I do hope that maybe they are just visiting. It would be nice if the outside puppy had some pack memebers so he wasn't so lonely.

  14. That is strange....makes no sense to me!

  15. I don't understand it either. I remember several years ago when I picked up an old Golden from someone that had spent its entire life chained up outside--He had been so neglected and it was so sad. What made it even more pathetic was that inside they had a Bichon that was well cared for and even had its nails painted. I don't have to tell you what I thought because I'm sure you're thinking it too.

I hope as our weather changes these pups find the warmth of the inside....

  16. I just don't know, Zona. You know, I was an outside doggie all my life before I got rescued and they didn't feed me much either. And then when my Angel Donna tried to talk them into giving me up, they didn't want to! Mom just keeps saying, "WHY? Why would you even WANT a doggie that you didn't pay attention to or even feed?" I sure don't know the answer. Humans are hard to figure out sometimes.

    Wiggles & Wags,

PeeS. I'm SUPER DUPER excited that you want to pawticipate in "Rescue Me Week"! You're a Most Wonderful furend!
