The One with Friendly Friday

You will not believe what came in the mail yesterday!!! You know Morgan, Tsar and the Porties, right? (If not, you should run right over and meet them. They are so much fun! I can't be certain but I bet watermelon treats are soon in their future and you HAVE to see those pictures.)

Their mom, Sue, is known for being not only thoughtful but amazingly creative! Last October, we were one of the winners of their 500th post contest and we got a HUGE box of toys! Mom even got a pressie in that box: a bracelet that she wears all the time!! Wasn't that nice of them?

Well, yesterday we got a box with another gift from the Porties!

A handmade blanket for my mini-two-legger! This picture doesn't do it justice - it's beautiful!!! I have to say, the box was most exciting to me. It smelled amazing!!!

THANK YOU Morgan, Tsar, Samba, Fudge, Tess, Shy, Lola, Bailey, Noah and Norma Jean!! And a big thank you to Sue and Rob!!!! Hi to Holly & Cloud!!

  1. The blanket is JUST LOVELY! Those portie (and their mom) sure are thoughtful.

Big doggie sibling tip #1 - The baby two-leggers don't like to share their blankies with us. I found this most disturbing at first. I had always assumed that every soft and warm spot in the house was MINE. Apparently, this is not the case - and some soft things are reserved for the baby two-leggers.

  2. OH that is just BEAUTIFUL. The mini-two legger will be all snuggly and comfy when wrapped in it!! I'm gonna admit that I am kinda green with jellyness. Naps on that would be heavenly.

  7. That blankie is just beautiful - such a gorgeous pattern. And homemade is always so nice for babies. We know Sue and all her beautiful and well-loved pups. That was so very sweet of her to make that for your little human pup.

  8. Morgan, Tsar and the Porties, are the best, and their Mom is especially!! What a kind and thoughtful and lovely gift that I know will become a treasure! I didn't realize that we're both having boys!! Your 'two legged puppy' will be arriving at about the same time as my 'four legged puppy' does!! :-)) Enjoy your weekend and this wonderful weather!!!

Hey, about this picnic coming up...I have a blanket all picked out. It's just barely big enough for two. We'd have to snuggle up really close for our picnic...sound like fun?!?! I'm super excited if you'll join me for a day in the bark together!!
