The One with Friendly Friday

My friend Barbara had two VERY important posts this week. In case you missed them, I hope you'll go read her Tuesday post about a dog food drive for homeless pets. Can you spare a little food for our less fortunate furends?

Then today she had a post about two adorable little Mini-Pinschers who are hoping for a happy forever home. Check out her post to read about their story. Let's help get them home!

  1. Zona, thank you so much for posting this!! I hope people will help with both - for all the blogs I follow, not many people are responding to the request for doggie food!

Oh well, I know times are hard and we're all helping other doggies too. I will still give 200lbs no matter what!!

PeeS: Your Christmas card will be on my blog today!!

    love you!
    Barbara, Trixie and Minnie

  2. I am headed over now. The shelter I was adopted from has a pet food pantry, which we support. It is a great way to help animals and people!

    Your pal, Pip

  3. We like to take a few bags of dog biscuits to the shelter at this time of year, so the homeless dogs can celebrate the holidays, too.
    Morgan, Tsar and the Porties

  4. Oh, that picture of the homeless man and his dog made my mom all leaky. Thank you for telling us abouts both of these things. We just donated some foodables to the rescue where I came from but I'll see if we can do this, too. And I hopes those two brudders find their furever home soon.

    Wiggles & Wags,

  5. Thanks for letting us know Zona. What a good cause
    Benny & Lily

  6. Thanks fur sharing -

The Doggy Nanny and Mom make sure to 'thank' the B&B I khame from fur letting me stay there by sending green papers and/or dropping off stuffs!

    Paws khrossed fur all!

  7. I wish I had known about Barbara's thingy before I Pawmised the shelter that I take food to EVERY month that I will be bringing DOUBLE the normal 50# plus I am taking Milkbones and jars of peanut butter.
If I hadn't PAWMISED them I would have liked to help Barbara with her GRRRRRREAT Project. I feel bad that I can't do anything fur her.

  8. I think Barbara's post about the food for homeless dogs is a great one, and we're hoping that if we can't do something to help her with hers this year that we'll get to do it next year!

  9. Zona,

I do not know Barbara but mom and me will go and take a look at her post. Happy Friday!

    Woofs and Licks,
    Maggie Mae
