The One Where I'm Back

I'm back!!!!!!! Did you miss me? I missed all of you. I was away getting all betters. First Phoenix... then me... and then... can you believe this.... PAPA. Yep. He woked up with an ouchie knee. I gave him some of Phoenix's anti-inflammatory medicine. It worked for me! I just took the syringe and squirted it up near his gums like mom did for me and he was good as new in a couple of days.

I figured since I was allowed to take Phoeny's medicine a couple of times, I should be allowed to squeeze myself into borrow her tiny bed.

"What? I'm small too!"
I am slowly catching up on your blogs so please excuse my tardiness!! Have I missed anything exciting besides Booker Man's second birthday??

On Sunday my two-leggers left us home with my favorite two-legger, Stacey! One of Stacey's 15 year old dogs, Katie, crossed the bridge last week so I was anxious to see her to give her a great big Zona snuggle. Katie leaves behind a loving pack, including her litter mate Samuel. I'm sending lots of prayers up for all of them to get through this sad time.

While we were visiting with Stacey, mom and papa went into the city to eat (of course) and go to a hockey game.

Their seats were pretty much as high as you could get and still be in the stadium. BOL!

But they still had fun!

A couple of times the players took a break and they washed the ice down with beers. That's my kind of place!!

Then again... there is a pretty huge bird there. I think he'd make me a little nervous in person. Even this photo is kind of skeery!

But then mom showed me this photo of the Big Bird throwing burritos (not a typo) to the fans.... I suppose I could grow to like this bird.

Glad you're feeling better, sorry to hear about your dad though. Boy, whatever going on at your house, it really WAS contagious! I'm sure your dad appreciated you sharing the meds.

I looked at that picture of you in the bed before I read the post and thought to myself, "I hope that's not her bed, it looks kind of small!" Looks like just the right size for one or both of my chi's.

So sorry to hear about Katie. How nice of you to give Stacey a big Zona hug. I know she appreciated that.

I could grow to like anyone who threw burritos at me too!

  17. Oh, I did, I did miss you TONS! I'm so very much happy that you're back and feeling betters. Good job taking care of your papa, by the way. And good job taking care of Stacey, too. I'm sure that your snuggles made her feel betters.

Now, that hockey game looks like the most fun thing EVARRR! Beers on ice and birds throwing burritos? Seriously...that's what I kinda imagine the Bridge to be like.

PeeS. My mom says to tell your mom that that was a very sweet thing she said on our bloggie today. Momma just writes from the heart and she's never ever sure if what she says makes sense or not. :-)
