The One with the Floater

Another hot day here but it was cloudy so that helped! I spent some time checking on Wally and Stella to make sure they were comfortable with all this heat. Stella spends most of the time floating in the pond. Wally dunks his head in from time to time but he's not too keen on swimming much. I think he still thinks he's a dog.

  1. Zona,

Good for you watching out for Stella and Wally! We are having a break from the real hot temperatures at my house today too. Those clouds sure do helps keep the heat away. :)

  2. When we read the title we thought it was going to be something else entirely! Glad it was about your ducks!

  3. I didn't know you had ducks! How very cool!

I wish it would cool off here. I don't think that's gonna happen any time soon though.

  4. Hi Zona - like Sam and Pippen we weren't really sure what we were going to be reading, he he he! Your duckies are cute - we admit we would probably have barked at them, but only becuase we would want to play! We love that Wally thinks he's a dog - too cute! Schnauzer snuggles - JD and Max.

  6. It is still miserably hot here. We have had mostly sun, some clouds, and now t-storms are trying to make there way in. Nice of you to check on Wally and Stella - you are very kind.

We are all very anxious for snow to come:)

  8. That was very much sweet of you to makes sure they were okay. I can't believe that Wally is a DUCK and doesn't like water. But that just shows he's his own duck! Hey! Maybe you and your mom could write a children's book: Wally - the Duck Who Didn't Like Water.

  12. You should teach your ducks some of your dog tricks. Then he can really think he's a dog.

  13. A duck who doesn't care for swimming. That's pretty amazing right there, Zona. He must not only think he's a dog, he probably thinks he's a Shar Pei.

  19. Hi,

It so hot here too. If I had duck, I'd have to jump in the pond to cool off. Angel Samantha used to chase ducks whenever Mommy took her to the country and she was always jumpingm inthe pond with them and she didn't even get in trouble.
